Peeter Karask

AEROOBIKA-, JÕUSAALI- JA PERSONAALTREENER

Peeter’s motto: “Train consistently, believe in yourself, take on new challenges and think positively and you’ll soon become the sculptor of your own body!”

Peeter is the mainstay of our club. He’s been working here since it first opened in 2006. He has seemingly boundless energy, and he’s not afraid to share it with others!

Peeter leads various group training sessions as well as advising clients in the gym and is one of our most in-demand personal trainers. He’s a licensed gym trainer and an internationally licensed Les Mills BodyPump® and FAF Indoor Cycling trainer.

Peeter graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in journalism and is currently part-way through his studies at the School of Natural Sciences and Health at Tallinn University. He has also studied at FAF (the Fitness Academy of Finland) as a personal trainer.

 

In his free time Peeter loves to travel, and one of his biggest passions is photography. He also takes part in as many running and skiing marathons as he can. On top of everything else, Peeter won the title of Estonian Bodybuilding Champion in 1999.

Heti Helen Rohtla

PEATREENER, AEROOBIKA- JA PERSONAALTREENER

Heti’s motto: “Smile and the world smiles with you!”

Heti’s been working as a trainer since 1998. She graduated from Tallinn University with a degree in psychology while also studying gymnastics at the School of Natural Sciences and Health. In the end this long-term hobby became her bread and butter, since she now works as an EKR 5 qualified trainer, an FAF (Fitness Academy of Finland) personal trainer and an internationally licensed Les Mills BodyPump®, BodyBalance® and Gymstick trainer. She also holds a diploma as a SuppamaHIIT trainer.

 

Heti’s always smiling and positive when working with others, but at the same time she’s not afraid to tell others what to do, since to her it’s very important that people do exercises properly. In the sessions she leads she makes sure her clients are doing everything the right way.

 

In her free time Heti studies Spanish and loves travelling to exotic destinations. Having a positive attitude is the basis of everything in Heti’s view, since she feels that people often make life harder for themselves simply by overthinking things.

PIRET KASAK

Piret’s motto: “A healthy person is a happy person!”

Piret’s been working as a trainer since 1999. She’s a qualified EKR 5 aerobics trainer and an internationally licensed AEA (Aquatic Exercise Association) water aerobics and Gymstick H2O trainer.

 

Piret has led dance training classes for children and is an attested instructor for swimming with babies. In addition to being a popular water aerobics trainer, he other great passion is yoga. She says you can never learn everything there is to learn about yoga because there’s so much to discover at both the physical and spiritual levels. She throws herself into vigorous yoga practices. At the moment her hobby is AcroYoga, although she’s also interested in rehabilitation and is a Reiki practitioner.

 

Piret loves her work and working out and she wants everyone to find the right kind of training for them to get – and stay – healthy.

DAGMAR NEEM

Dagmar’s motto: “Do a lot and you’ll get a lot done!”    

Dagmar’s been dancing all her life. She’s put her best foot forward in a number of styles, from folk dancing to breakdancing, and has also tried her hand at martial arts. She started working as a trainer during her final years in secondary school, which later led her to enrol in the School of Natural Sciences and Health at Tallinn University, from which she’s since obtained a Master’s degree.

 

From 1999-2004 Dagmar enjoyed success in both the Aerobics Queen and Fitness Free Class competitions. As a result of dedicating herself to her passion she was crowned Estonia’s very first Fit Girl in 2001.

 

Dagmar is an internationally licensed trainer for BodyART, Les Mills BodyPump®, TRX, YogaFunk, Jumping® and Gymstick Muscle. She’s also attended Shindo and Ashtanga Yoga courses and taken part in a number of international workshops.

 

Dagmar is like an ‘energy bomb’ – you’ll never get bored in her classes! Outside of the gym she enjoys dancing, going to the cinema and concerts and making jewellery.

MATTI BERG

The path to achieving your goals isn’t always a straight line – sometimes there are lots of twists and turns!”

Matti’s been working as a trainer since 2007 and gives a variety of aerobics and water aerobics classes. He has international licences in AEA (Aquatic Exercise Association) water aerobics, Les Mills BodyPump® and BodyAttack® Advanced training.

 

What Matti likes about his work is meeting so many different people, which broadens his horizons and gives him a much better overview of society as a whole. As a trainer it’s important to him to truly listen and to be able to give the right advice. In the sessions he leads he works the participants hard while also making it the positive experience they need to recharge their batteries. This, he says, is the magic of being a trainer!

 

Matti’s hobbies outside of the club are also sports-related: for example, he loves playing tennis. Whenever the fast pace of his life allows him to, he enjoys travelling as well.

EVELIN TALTS

Evelin’s motto: “A rolling stone gathers no moss.”

Evelin fell in love with track and field while she was at school. Her favourite disciplines were the running races. She proudly displays a gold medal for the 400-metre hurdles in the 1997 Estonian Championships and a number of marathon titles in her trophy cabinet. In 2012 she even represented Estonia in the marathon at the London Olympics.

 

Evelin’s a graduate of the School of Natural Sciences and Health at Tallinn University and has worked as an athletics trainer for children. She’s taken a large number of aerobics and gym trainer courses and has been leading group training sessions in sports clubs since 2000.

 

As a trainer Evelin’s goal is to motivate and support people to live healthier, more active, higher-quality and longer lives through regular, moderate exercise.

 

Evelin continues to take part in running races and marathons, and she’s also a passionate snowboarder. Evelin’s motto: “A rolling stone gathers no moss.

MARGIT LIPSTUHL

Margit’s motto: “A healthy mind in a healthy body!”

Margit’s been working as a water aerobics trainer for more than 20 years. She is EKR 6 qualified and an official training manager for the Aquatic Exercise Association (the biggest and most respected organisation of its kind in the world) in Estonia.

 

Margit is without doubt the best-known water aerobics instructor in the country. She’s led classes at global training events and brainstorming sessions in the United States, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Finland and Poland. She’s a trainer for the Hydrorider training system and can also be considered the woman who imported water spinning into Estonia.

 

For Margit, exercise is the basis of good health and a good mood. Everyone who attends her sessions finds her energy infectious!

TATJANA BELJAJEVA

Tanja’s motto: “Water works wonders!”

Tatjana, or Tanja for short, has been working as a trainer for more than two decades. She’s EKR 4 qualified and an internationally licensed Aquatic Exercise Association water aerobics instructor. She also has a Gymstick H20 certificate and is one of very few trainers in Estonia who gives such classes. Moreover, she’s a licensed Les Mills BodyBalance® trainer as well.

 

Tanja’s been giving swimming lessons for more than 10 years, including swimming for babies.

She’s a highly dedicated trainer whose sessions are always well thought through. She is without doubt our most popular water aerobics instructor!

 

In her free time Tanja likes spending time with her large family and travelling. Tanja’s motto: “Water works wonders!

KRISTINA HASSELBACH 

Kristina’s motto: “Sweat is just your body fat crying!”

Kristina’s been working as a trainer in water aerobics for more than a decade. She’s a qualified EKR 3 instructor and an internationally licensed AEA (Aquatic Exercise Association) trainer. She’s also qualified to lead swimming classes for babies and has a Gymstick H2O certificate.

 

As a trainer Kristina is very genuine and isn’t afraid to show her feelings! Her sessions are always high-energy and work the participants hard. Her other big passion is the world of beauty – in addition to being a trainer she works as a make-up artist.

 

In her spare time Kristina enjoys cooking and travelling.

NATALIA FELDBUSH

Natalia’s motto: “Be honest and always be yourself!”

Natalia’s been working as a water aerobics instructor for four years and is an attested specialist in the sport (AEA).

 

Natalia is an active and energetic trainer who’s constantly adding to her knowledge and skills. She is ‘fluent’ in a number of water aerobics styles, including AquaDance.

 

In her free time Natalia focuses on sport: she plays tennis, cycles and enjoys active tourism.

 

Natalia’s educational background is actually in philology, and she also enjoys reading and going to the theatre.

ANJA KÄGO

Anja’s motto: “People aren’t designed to live in a permanent state of happiness, but to experience every emotion and live at peace with themselves.”

Anja’s been working out on a regular basis since she was just five years old, when she took up rhythmic gymnastics. She later fell in love with badminton and started as a trainer in the sport while she was still in secondary school. This led to her obtaining Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in physical culture.

 

Anja studied nutrition advice at the Annely Soots School of Health and is a Level 5 badminton trainer as recognised by the Estonian Olympic Committee. She leads sessions in 10 group training styles and trains HeatFunk, YogaFunk and SuppamaHIIT trainers.

 

Anja’s passionate about being the best version of herself she can possibly be at all times and helping others discover their potential. To her it’s important that participants enjoy her classes – exercising, but not taking it too seriously; having fun rather than it being too much like hard work; and feeling like they’re always welcome. You don’t have to do everything perfectly: doing it as well as you can is enough. You should always be prepared to make mistakes and feel good about yourself regardless.

ALIAKSANDRA FURS

Aliaksandra’s motto: “Dream, plan, achieve.”

Aliaksandra and sport have been firm friends since she was very young. She practises a wide range of sports, from rhythmic gymnastics to track and field.

 

In 2014 Aliaksandra took part in a Jumping® trainer’s course and then started giving Jumping classes independently. That’s how her career as a trainer began. Just two years later she graduated from the St Petersburg Fitness College and she became a qualified fitness trainer.

 

Aliaksandra is energetic and creative. She loves putting herself to the test and is always happy to take on new challenges. As a trainer she’s constantly building on her existing skills and knowledge and in her work she always focusses on the client.

 

In addition to Jumping, Aliaksandra is familiar with a variety of training styles based on aerobics, water aerobics and martial arts. She’s still learning Estonian, so for the moment she’s leading her sessions in English and Russian.

TRIIN PARRO

Triin’s motto: “Have the courage to be yourself and make sure you enjoy every moment!”

Sports and dancing have formed part of Triin’s everyday life for years. When she realised how important it was to do exercises the right way if you want to achieve the best results, she started taking aerobics trainer courses offered by the Estonian Aerobics Association. From there she sought to become a personal trainer, which she did by taking courses at FAF (the Fitness Academy of Finland). She’s now been working as a trainer for 10 years.

 

Triin’s a considerate and observant trainer who takes the individuality and wishes of her clients into account in her classes. To her it’s important that exercising is enjoyable and motivating; that people feel how their bodies are improving and look forward to the next session.

 

In her free time Triin likes reading and spending time outdoors. Triin’s motto: “Have the courage to be yourself and make sure you enjoy every moment!

RAIMO MÄGI

Raimo’s motto: “If I don’t reach the top today, I’ll train so that I might get there tomorrow.”

Sport has long been an inseparable part of Raimo’s life. For the past six years he’s been training at the gym under Indrek Otsus and has taken part in a number of bodybuilding and fitness competitions. He’s been awarded an EKR 4 junior trainer licence and has four years’ experience as a trainer.

 

Raimo is passionate about teaching people the right way of doing exercises, since going about them the wrong way can easily lead to injuries. In order to achieve anything you need to be determined and proactive and set yourself new goals all the time.

 

Raimo’s free time is all about training as well – he wants to get to the very top in the world of fitness.

KRISTA ANNELJAS

Krista’s motto: “Everything happens for a reason.”

Krista started playing sports when she was in primary school, and since then it’s become her lifestyle. Her day-to-day work is as a secretary in the auto industry, but becoming a trainer was a long-held dream of hers.

 

In 2017 Krista attended a SuppamaHIIT course, which she passed and was then certified as a trainer. In summer 2018 she had the opportunity to put her trainer’s skills to the test by leading sessions in the outdoor pool at Nõmme Sports Centre.

 

Being a trainer is a fun hobby for Krista and one which gives her a lot of energy. She encourages everyone to make their dreams come true. Even in her spare time she focuses on sport: she runs, rollerblades, cycles, goes to the gym and takes part in a number of competitions.

Mare Paist

Mare’s motto: “Exercising means good fun, good company, good health, good posture and good looks!”

Mare’s been into aerobics since she was a kid and can’t picture her life without exercise. She graduated from Tallinn University as a physical education teacher and in aerobics and has dedicated herself to these areas ever since. She’s been giving water aerobics classes for 22 years.

 

Mare also leads children’s and women’s group sessions and women’s aerobics sessions. She’s constantly adding to her knowledge and skills set by attending the water aerobics courses organised by the Estonian Aerobics Association.

 

Mare’s a cheerful trainer who tries to pass that positivity on to her students. In her water aerobics classes she uses a range of equipment and pieces of music with different tempos, taking the needs and wishes of her clients into account. Mare loves working as both a PE teacher and a trainer, since the jobs complement each other.
